At work today someone decided to pass round the Liquorice Allsorts and we got into a discussion about favourite sweets. That got me thinking.

What are you favourite sweets of all time?

I'll start and mine are either Chocolate Limes or Rhubarb and Custard

Honeycomb/cinder toffee things you get in bags at the fairs/seaside. The sweet and salty taste appeals as I'm normally a savory person!
And bliss - you can make it at home!

Strawberry licorice - another sweet/candy I stock up on when in the US. Plus any cinnamon flavoured anything, esp chewing gum.

Its got to be Pear Drops as an all time fav,
but when I was married to an Aussie my then MIL used to send over Cherry Ripes as I became addicted to them when we were in Oz.
you cant buy them in the UK except on the internet and they are being sold for about £2 a bar. (bit too expensive for me)

Floral Gums and Cherry Lips - you can still get them, but the flavours are a bit dumbed down these days. floral cachous and parma violets are great too. anything that tastes of soap!!
