Just been down to the utility room and found a small puddle of water in front of the freezer. Opened the door to find that all of the contents have thawed out. The freezer has died and taken all my lovely veg. with it.
I had stacks of frozen broad beans, peas, sweet-corn and rhubarb. All that effort growing, picking, podding and blanching gone to waste. I'm just a tad p'eed off.
Will get in touch with insurers later but don't hold out much hope. They'll probably want to see receipts for the purchase of the seeds.
How do I place a value on all that organic produce and all that hard work?

Sorry, I know it's not funny but I would think your insurance will pay out, don't they usually cover freezer contents up to £500? As long as you submit a reasonable claim & possibly supply photos I can't see them refusing. I'd do as the others have suggested & try & cook as much as possible.
