Default Sunday - chat?

It has been a lovely sunny weekend here. Achieved the major job of cutting the grass (could have made hay if the weather was going to be hotter) but little else as there were so many things to do today. How has everyone else's weekend been?

I managed to get out nice and early this morning - about 8ish and spent till about 1.30 just pottering round my lottie. Spend the afternoon lazing in front of the telly watching the golf and had a lovely dinner of lamb, roast tatties from a neighbouring lottie, chard from my one along with some cauliflower cheese. Hope this weather keeps up, its been nice and sunny all week down here

Hey folks, how are you doing?

Just eaten roast chicken with home made cauliflower, parsnips and roast potatoes - don't think I'll ever get around to home made chicken though

I think we've had a couple of frosty nights. You can't buy wood here for love nor money - a sure sign of a hard winter. So far, though we've had some pretty good sunny days.

Hi all, been fine here this weekend as well (makes a change) Got my hut shifted to let the chooks have more light and I've been foxproofing the run as there's been talk of a fox snooping about!

Hey Snadger,

been following your chooks story - good for you, taking care of ex batts. I used to collect eggs from buttery hens to my shame so I know what a great job you are all doing.

Oh Nicos,
I'll bet you have some pretty mixed emotions about now - I know I did. Never looked back though.

Can't help you there nicos, aint much meat on mine as theyre bred to lay loads of eggs (like a machine) whilst not eating a lot. Doesn't matter how much I feed em they still don't seem to get any fatter!
