I have just tried to book on line for one of these holidays have been before and you gets what you pay for but not bad for a cheap holiday even with extra charges like services linen club passes. We wanted to go in may and as long as it has indoor swimming pool not fussed where we go within north devon, cornwall, somerset or dorset. Nearly everyone coming up with only dates for a weekend or October. So unless you want any of these weeks you are out of luck. I think to get may you need to book when these holidays are offered in the autum and now for october.

Jackie the Sun's online booking site has been open since the late hours of Saturday night - we got a priority booking form and so have booked our weekend break already.
As you say, you get what you pay for...but last year our break at Challaborough Bay cost £53 for Fri-Mon, as we didn't pay for linen nor entertainment (the beach was 500yds away and the van had a tele!
). The van had central heating and was on a very nice site. Bargain!

I wanted to go in the may half term missed a couple of papers in the week so needed the codes. could go friday to monday but would have to either try and change my holiday at work ( really hard to do bad enough trying to get the weeks I want in the first place ) or take daughter out of school. I know it would only be two days at the most but I dont agree with taking kids out of school for holidays, they get thirteen weeks after all and unless a really good reason for doing so I dont see the need.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak

The codes (for online booking) were posted in threads on MSE and HotUKDeals - Sunday's NOTW code was 'guessed' Hence being able to book on Saturday night.

Grr I didnt know that but thanks will know next time I have tried every date I know I can do and got a few but its not really what we want so may book for oct now then make sure I book for next may later on in the year. With my new job I am not supposed to take oct half term off but as I have told them its already booked I can take it this time. We could get a weekend in may but would have to take daughter out of school.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak

Jackie, the Herald Express are doing £10 holidays. My children have been taking the grandchildren on them for the last few years and have had a lovely time.
We have a few spare tokens if you would like them and can save more. You save so many tokens for the mobile home(loads of different sites all over the Westcountry) and pay £10 per person for the holiday.
