        What about one of these:

        Search results Boots clicky

Then you could use the 'hat box' and fill it with goodies for somebody elses Christmas pressie

Or a WHSmiths voucher so you could get a couple of books from Richard and Judys book club to relax with on those rainy-can't-garden days:

Home - Richard and Judy Book Club

Or may be a Thorntons chocolates gift box for some luxury:

        http://www.thorntons.co.uk/Thorntons...rder=ascending

Or, even better, one item from ALL of them

Mine asks me, and when I tell him what I'd like, he decides that's not a good present and buys something that he'd like instead This year he said I should go to a really expensive restaurant because I'm worth it: meaning he really wanted an excuse to go to a really expensive restaurant (I don't particularly enjoy eating out, as the food is invariably worse than I can do at home. I don't mean I'm Nigella, just that most places can't cook decent veggie food)

How about breakfast in bed with a couple of pressies to unwrap ,then both of you taking the day off work and going off somewhere different for the day. Pub lunch and a takeaway and film in for the evening

Are there any courses you have always wanted to take?
Tender part two - Nigel Slater - the book is out now!
any box sets of DVD's you fancy?
What about IOU's You get him to write out 'cheques'
ie He owes you 5 mornings worth of tea in bed
He owes you 5 times of putting the shopping away
He owes you 3 afternoon teas complete with little cake'ies
He owes you 3 hours weeding......
He owes you a day of being your slave!
Your mind can run riot here- I love this kind of gift as often or not it's the little things that really count and you can have fun thinking of IOU's

Someone bought me this for my birthday, it's actually quite good, normally these books from tv serieseseses are a load of rubbish, but this is useful.
"Orinoco was a fat lazy Womble"

Please ignore everything I say, I make it up as I go along, not only do I generally not believe what I write, I never remember it either.

Bins, what about a fig tree...or an apple tree...or a plum tree (can you spot the theme?). Most of them can be grown in pots if you don't want to plant it in the ground.
