  • Stolen Great Dane

I'm hoping that this post is allowed to stay as Sharyn has often helped re-unite stolen/lost Danes with their owners and it would be wonderful if her Max could be re-united with her.

    Stolen Great Dane

Max was stolen on 14th Feb 2008. He is a blue Great Dane with a white flash between his forelegs. He is not neutered so chances are he is being used for breeding.

There is a possibility that a travelling family may have him and he may also be in Ireland.

We would be grateful if you could look out for this boy and check the Chip of every Male Blue G. Dane in any rescue or Vet practice
    Max no is 985000001113069

There is a reward for any info leading to Max's safe return

How heartbreaking, how can anyone take a member of someone's family like this?
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

        Poor woman must be devastated.

I hope they are reunited soon.

That is so heart breaking, the things that some low life will stoop to is beyond me, that's disgusting, I really hope Max is returned to his family. xxx

I know it's a long shot as Max was stolen a year ago, but Sharyn has never given up hope that he will be found.

If anybody remembers somebody getting an older Blue Dane about the time he went missing, either contact me or Sharyn directly.

This is almost(and to some people) as bad as someone taking your child. I pray Max will be found and re-united with his family.
Have his owners been in touch with the Great Dane Club? They will alert all G.D. owners in Breat Britain and Ireland.
The thing is,is to make this dog such hot property that no-one will want to keep him and he will end up in rescue.

At the time everybody was contacted, but there was no news, after the mass publicity to get back the stolen Dane in Canterbury this week as many Dane owners/lovers are trying to see if we can find Max.

I feel for this lady, my beautiful Lab died two years ago and I'm still heartbroken, but at least I know where he is, if he'd just disappeared like that it would have been awful, and Polly is right, it's a vulnerable family member and is almost as bad as having your child go missing.

He is beautiful, there seems to be an ever increasing amount of dogs that 'go missing'
and a lot are the expensive kind! what is going on here.
I really hope they find Max somehow. My fingers are crossed, I would be truly heartbroken if that happened to me.
