  • Stolen Arun Mayfield Tractor

I am asking members help in tracing the above tractor, particularly in the Noth West of England. This was stolen from a farm in Staffordshire on 21st May and it was sold to an unknown buyer at an Auto Jumble at Hamilton House Farm, Garstang on Sunday the 12th of June. A man has been arrested for handling stolen goods but he cannot recall who he sold this tractor too!! The tractor is unique having an hydrostatic drive, a 3ft offset cutter bar, twin wheels, and a tow bar. A Honda GX240 engine of 8Hp is fitted being the number G004-1229848. QE**. If you know where this tractor is or require additional information contact myself Bill Castellan by PM or Staffordshire police quoting crime reference no FZ-33885-20/11 and incident no 280 21/5/11.

Please contact Bill by PM - I have removed your telephone number for reasons of security.

At first I wondered why a "tractor" stolen would be advertised on a GYO/allotment/veg plot site but then I looked at the photo. I guess tractors come in all shapes and sizes.
        Good luck!

Just listened to a report on radio about increasing number of thefts from farms. Getting very high tech about it using google earth(I think they said) to suss out possible victims before striking.

Here's hoping it hasn't been shipped off abroad. I will be keeping an eye open for it up here. Best of luck.
