        Eh?

Does than mean style or is it a new insult yet to reach us lot in Suffolk? (not too clued up on my greenhouses)

Oh, sympathies braders! Our first Norfolk Greenhouse was a nightmare to get up! But the second one was a breeze You're a bit far for the OH to nip round and give a hand though, sorry!
I'd consider using some silicone or something to put the panels in - they're a bit prone to popping out in the wind

It was after all the problems with people putting their own greenhouses up - read on here - that I decided to buy a wooden one fitted as part of the deal.

Good luck; but second the silicone. It's brill.

Can totally sympathise, out green house was a total nightmare to construct. It was like all the worst flat pack furniture instructions you have ever seen rolled into one, combined with missing bits, too many bits in some cases to totally confuse us.
Hope it all goes well it will be work it in the end.

                Enough said!
When you first mentioned you'd bought a Norfolk, I decided to keep mum instead of telling you how ruddy difficult they are to build.
It took us 9 months in all. We'd start a bit, find it was going wrong, and give up for a month.
Even now, all the panels pop out in the wind, so definitely use that silicone.

I've just bought a glass one now, so expect me to be on here ranting about that in the new year I'm not putting it together until it's a bit warmer

I totally agree with TS took my oh 9 weeks to put mine up the language you just cant imagine!! now its a constant repair job to keep the pannels in if any get broke they sell pvc pannels in focus and they seam a bit stronger also iv had strips put on diagonally to try to make it more stronger but i love it had some great toms and cumbers in the summer would get a glass one next time though

Ours are 'Standard' Norfolk's, so once all the frame building woes were over with, the plastic sheeting went over and had no more problems except as you would with a polytunnel (odd splits/tears in the plastic) all easily repairable with greenhouse tape
Greenhouse tape is nearly as good as silicone

We very nearly ended up with an ASBO after Mr Herbie tried, tried and tried to put our first greenhouse. For the first week or so it ended up over the fence in my neighbours garden until Mr Herbie found his patience and my mother came round to show him how it was done!

Hope you get there soon Braders they are worth it.

Almost done...will get some silicone tomorrow, the panels are poly carb so they are better than plastic. It is a good strong greenhouse, but whoever drew up the instructions wants a slap...anyway thanks for all the replies people.

                        Cheers
