Nope- we always end up altering it slightly as we tend to have too many seedlings to transplant out and not enough room- or too few germinated.

It's called 'adapting to circumstances' and is a rare talent !!!

I stick like glue to mine.

              The plan itself consists of

'Sow seeds, plant out, harvest....make sure you water stuff'...

My bed plan is 'never replace like with like' - and my crop rotation plan is 'move the spuds round each year'.

Can't go wrong with that plan, can you?

During my many years of project management - I learnt one main thing..under-promise and over-deliver.

If you plan what you know you can achieve, then you can't fail; eh?

My first year on the plot, I bought a notebook and drew it out. Listed what was to be done when and where everything would go etc etc

Those pages were invaluable......for scrunching up to light the fire.

i made a plan last year when i first got my lottie, but i didnt achieve half of what i intended.
i made another plan this winter and a list of all the seeds that i had in stock.
i also got a chrisie prezzie of carol kleins grow your own veg which has a week by week planner in it that you can put notes in which i plan to use and have started by listing when i sowed my tomatoes and jalapenos and when the seedlings appeared
i have a spreadsheet of what i would like my lottie to look like this year, plot rotation etc
whether i stick to all these plans is another matter, but it is good to have a plan anyway, but all plans regardless of what they are for must be open to alteration depending on circumstances.
they are good to set goals, and prompt lazy folk like me who need a kick up the arse now and again.
