Just to warn anyone with bookings for Speedferries, they have gone into administration and have cancelled all sailings.
I was supposed to be sailing Dover to Boulogne tomorrow morning. Got an email today from Speedferries entitled Conformation of Booking. Strange I thought, as we had the confirmation months ago when we booked it. Just glanced at it to double check had the correct day and times etc (got that wrong before!). About halfway down the email, mixed in with all the conformation stuff was a line that said "Dear customer, all sailings have been cancelled until further notice, regards Speedferries".
I'm not kidding, it was practically hidden!
I looked on the Speedferries site and they actually went into administration on the 12th Nov. Only just around to telling me a few hours before I was due to sail. Arrrgghhh.
Managed to get booked onto Sea France for the same days and more or less the same times. Of course that's another £90.
