  • Sorry if this has already been asked but I've been away!

Hi all, I've been in Devon visiting my Mum. I came back to some seeds that I bought with my Thompson and Morgan voucher that I won last month.
    They don't have photos on!
Usually when you buy seeds, there is a picture of what you've bought on the front and then the instructions etc on the back.
These all have a generic photo of many flowers on the front and the name in Latin!
I can't speak Latin, and although I do try and find out the 'proper' names for things I usually call a daisy a daisy!
Has anybody else found this with other seed companies? Is this the new way of doing things now? I can't actually remember what I chose - so will have to look up the names on google and then the photos and try and draw them on the packet myself!!
You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...

I'm an official nutter - an official 'cropper' of a nutter! I am sooooo pleased to be a cropper! Hurrah!

T&M often do that with mail order seeds. All the packets look the same - just goggle the name.
Its really good to learn the Latin names for plants as well as their common names - too much confusion with the common names.

Thing is VC, By the time I plant them out I won't remember what they look like - hence my 'great drawings' of them lol

I've never known the names to be in Latin but I've loads of those generic packets.

I never remember to open them from the bottom so when I fold the open bit over I can still read the name!

        Leave Rotten Fruit.
        Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potasium - potash.
        Autant de têtes, autant d'avis!!!!!
Il n'est si méchant pot qui ne trouve son couvercle.

I've left them in the shed and it's dark and I haven't got a torch that works! I'll put them on tomorrow
