  • SOOOOOO Excited !!

Have to share this with you as we feel so happy.

For the past few weeks Mrs Minty and myself have been toying with the idea of starting a local gardening service, purely mowing, general maintenance and border planting.
On our local CO-OP Advertisement board today we found a local lady requesting " someone to do a bit of gardening".
This evening i went to see the lady in question and she is such a lovely lady, she has told us exactly what she wants doing.
We start by mowing her lawns and preparing her flower beds on Friday.

Could this be the start of something exciting ????? Hope So

Hope it all works out for you - it takes a lotta bottle to start up a new business but believe me, you'll never regret it - what could be better than growing / gardening for a living ?
All the very best to you and your wife.

good luck to you minty, from small seeds big things grow,my son did the same thing a few years ago,it's suprising how much work can be got by recomendation alone, especially this time of year, the only problem was, where is home, and what is a rest, all the best

I absolutely hate to be the fly in the ointment Minty, but I hope you have agreed a fixed hourly rate with her. Little old ladies are prone to expect a lot of work for not much money.

I wish you all the best, but you have to have a 'realistic business plan', and you cannot afford to be too generous.

I really, really wish you all the best. Years ago it is something OH would have loved to have done.

not very nice words,{little old ladies}YOU will get there one day ,yes some people expect more for their money, any age and gender, whist others make you have more, that is exactly why a quote is agreed upon.

Well done lad - hope it takes off big time - as long as you don't expect lawn care advice from a load of people who progressively dig up their lawns to get more veg beds!
