              Actually, it was because Ted was chewing the skirting board and I wondered how long it would take before he ate the house.
              The phrase "The man who ate an aeroplane" flashed into my mind but i couldn't remember where I'd heard it - was it a book or a film? So a quick Goggle and there it was. Too bizarre to keep to myself

                      it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

                          Yep, that a mouse will not work on a squidgy cushion, that smoked ham gives the dog really bad wind, that the annual village ball is on tonight and the only difference between it and an illegal rave is the £50 tickets, that I can re-watch Mrs Browns Boys till the cows come home and that vitamin D is really good for your finger nails,

                            Learned today that Lumpys mouse in the rant thread is not a real mouse but a computer mouse. Only when I read the above post did it finally sink in. Just couldn't work out what you meant Lumpy! Doh! I need some sleep!
