  • Some thoughts from the garden this weekend...

    Finally managed to get out in the veg patch this weekend. Some thoughts:

    1. Why did I think 5 compost bins would be enough?
    2. Why does 3 cubic metres of compost/manure looks loads, but hardly cover anything?
    3. Why don't the chickens and ducks poo more?
    4. Why is a ton of horse manure not enough?
    5. Why don't I have 2 wheelbarrows?

    There seems to be a common denominator here OWG. I think you need to aquire twice as much as you already have........

        My feelings are - why can't I get started? Every time I begin to get trays out for sowing, something comes along - phone rings, pot boils over, bag of compost spills all over the place...
