  • So very sad

I had a phone call from my aunt on Sunday morning to say that my cousin had died. He was just 45. He had got up that morning at 6 saying he felt a little unwell and he died at home 3 hours later. We don't know why yet, waiting for the post mortem results. We are a close family and i feel utterly useless, there is nothing I can do or say to make things any better or easier for them all, especially his sons, the youngest is just 11 and I am so worried about my aunt and uncle as they are both ill themselves. My own sister died when she was just 33 and this has brought it all back to me, it was the same aunt who broke that news to me too. Sorry for posting a miserable thread and I'm not looking for advice or anything, I just wanted to write it down and I knew you lot would understand. xxx

Don't apologise! It's always too soon when someone dies but at 45, he was certainly taken too soon.
No-one here will mind if you want to talk more. I'm very sorry to hear your sad news.

Sorry to hear about someone dying so well before his time. You are a strong family and have supported one another before. And failing that, there's always us.

So sorry to hear of your loss hugs to all your family, I lost a cousin ( not the only one sadly gone ) she was six months older than me and we grew up together, she was ill for a long time though, but died in her early forties, just thought I think it would have been her birthday today.

Aww (((((((LOTS OF BIG HUGS))))))) to you and all your family. Thats not good news for you all! I know what you mean about wanting to put your feelings in writing! I often do the same, it sort of helps get things sorted out in my head, sometimes. It is so good to have a place where you can turn to in good and bad times. I for one and I'm sure many more of us on here understand your need to get it out. RIP to your cousin, Love and Light to you and your whole family, God bless!
