How exciting!! Will you have a mixture of ornamentals and veg? Ornamentals will encourage the local bee population to frequent your garden and in turn pollinate your crops. But...

I'd beware of spending too much money on stuff you can't take with you, should you need to move out for any reason. But you can grow fruit trees and bushes in big pots really successfully, so I don't think it will limit you at all. Do you have any thoughts yet?

I was going to reply to this yesterday but was having compooter-style problems.

Dead exciting! It's so lovely to get a patch of growing space when you haven't had one before. I was ecstatic when we got our lottie, as had only had a small garden before and grew everything in pots!

You can spend all these cold dark nights planning your new patch, and reading up on different growing techniques etc.

Or you could just spend the next three months here, which is where I do most of my learning. Every day's a schoolday!

I bought a state-of-the art book the other day, but I couldn't work out how to plug it in, boot it up or plug my mouse in.
Gave up, had to go back to using my computer...technology hey?
