  • Snow pics

Sorry if a thread has already been started on the subject, I'm just poking my head round the door whilst munching a sarnie.

    Mods move this if needed.

Last week (distant memory now) we had our yearly trip to Centre Parcs, and we could not have asked for better weather (not a view shared by many I know).

The place looked like a proper winter wonderland, and Bean loved it.

I went down the lottie for the first time in 2 weeks this morning. I took my video cam.. still deep snow covering the veg.
I was amazed when i cut a sprout stalk to see that the damn whitefly had survived 2 weeks of sub zero temps.

Last Friday we spent in Cherbourg, well after having to drive from Caen, because the ferry wasn't co-operating. Very interesting drive, with lorries parked on the road reducing dual carriageways to one lane each way. We had to drive back in the evening too, even more fun!
I did take a couple of pics, will put them up later. They aren't great, because I haven't got used to using the phone for pictures yet!

It was still snowy here (near Manchester) until today when it all melted after last night's drizzle.
Here's a pic. I took of the local park earlier this week, it was used as the weather pic. on the local news.
