I tell people that I have never smoked in my life!!! Liar, liar. I did when I was about 15. I only smoked for about a month and decided it was an incredibly stupid idea. Someone asked me to look after their fag last week and I took a drag on it. How can one stupid month make you still addicted 50 years later?

I stopped smoking years ago for health and financial reasons (too flipping expensive) and yes there's times I could site and smoke a cig. I missed the one in the morning with mi coffee...still do if I admit it. What I don't miss is being hospitalised because I've contracted another serious chest infection, coughing mi guts up in a morning because I can't breath and laying in bed listening to my chest wheeze...Yup the benefits out way that missed cig. -

I quit nearly ten years ago and still get cravings. Oddly enough the smell of fag smoke on other people makes me want to chuck

I smoked when I was too young
10 woodbines out of the machine on the wall by the post office 
My middle sister found out ( 4 years older than me ) and threatned to tell mum if I didnt give her a fag 
, my 10 lasted me a fortnight till then. I stopped smoking and have never even wanted to smoke, the smell urgh. My sister smoked all her life.

I used to smoke 60 a day when I had a high pressure job, but stopped on 9th April 1997. I have to be honest and say sometimes I dream of smoking and wake up wanting a fag!! When I was pregnant the last time, I craved the smell of cigarette smoke!
However I know how addictive it is, so wouldnt give in to my own weakness!Comment

Never had a cigarette between my lips. Well into my 40's and never smoked, ever.

Started in my teens then on and off till I was about 20 something. Have been given up 6 years now and still crave them sometimes.
Did give in and have a few last year...naughty I knowKirsty b xx

Smoked on & off since I was 16 smoked up to 40 a day or 2x50 gram packs a week.
I have "stopped" more than once,I am not smoking at the moment(stopped last July)but I don't know if I will last..The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

I am trying to give up again today. Started a few years ago after quite a while of not smoking.
I have a tight chest, out of breath and not enjoying my food as much, feel s@@t in the mornings, low energy!
Not to mention the cost.

Nope, never smoked. Apart from the odd naughty ones during a rebellious streak, usually at concerts/festivals, but I'm a non-smoker.
