Default Sky Plus - can't change the clocks!

Oh my god I'm pulling my hair out!
Every six months the Sky Plus programmer goes wrong. The Sky clock goes forward okay, but all the pre-programmed programmes are taping an hour early. We can't sit and go through and change them all, it will take hours.

6 months ago all we had to do was unplug, wait a minute, and it all rejigged itself.

This time, nothing. We just spent 15 mins talking to an Indian callcentre - the woman had no idea what I was talking about. She'd never heard of the clocks changing, and just said any old thing to get rid of us. It is so frustrating and really hard not to shout at the person on the phone.

I've done a google search and nobody else seems to know what to do. Any Grapes got the answer?

Same problem with our PVR (not Sky+). OH had set up to tape MotoGP at the correct time, but the PVR was being 'clever' and decided that, because we set it for 2pm when we programmed it Saturday, we must mean 3pm BST and lost most of the program. I am downloading it from iPlayer instead.....

This stuff isn't hard - maunfacturers, please sort it!

I never even looked at the taping - just noticed the clock had reset itself so thought all would be well (we didn't have sky+ the last clock change). Now I shall go home and check it out ... and pull the plug for a few minutes just in case! Thanks for mentioning this, even if not for this reason Two-Sheds!!

Indian Call Centre lady told us it would sort itself out within 24 hrs... it didn't. We have now deleted all pre-set programs and started from scratch.

The clock on my Sky+ box did sort itself out. BUT, all the recordings set on series link changed timings to an hour earlier so I'd probably have missed them all!!!

I also went through them all manually deleting them and resetting them from the TV guide 'cos I don't trust Sky to get it sorted!!

Rather odd, the setting for Sunday was all wrong, so last night I checked all the others - and they were right! Something has now set them all correct!

Hmm.....

I unplugged and rebooted as it were, and when I reconnected everything seems to be okay - I guess I won't really know until I try to watch something!!
