  • Size 12 skirt!

Had to share.... bought a skirt for one of my aging aunties to give me for xmas (I know it's strange to get your own pressies but they can't get to the shops and it worries them if they don't get gifts for us the dappy moos) And I had to get a SIZE 12 as the 14 was too BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please bear in mind that last october I was a size 20 skirt.

Happy skinny bunny is off to find a cake to celebrate!

      congratulations hun.

i got my party kit out as I have been invited to my first grown up party in ten years ( for this read: no kids allowed and can go without needing a babysitter)

nothing FITS!!!!! last summer I was 11 1/2 stone ( was 8 when the brats were born) and i am back down to 9 stone now, perfect weight and no diet, sadly no clothes though so i know how great you must feel.

I feel SOOOOOOOOOOO much better! I remember carrying the baby up the stairs last september and my knees hurt when I got to the top, and I thought 'that ain't right, I'm only 33!' and decided something had to be done.
Have always been a big girl. Size 12 is definitely a first for me!

I do Weightwatchers, have done it loads of times, but this time it's sticking!

The only thing that still hurts is my back, the docs told me to lose weight and the back pain would go away, and I've lost 3 stone and it's worse! We have a pocket sprung matress so I know it's not that.... I know EXACTLY what it is... It's carrying the 24lb baby round all day long! He is walking a bit now so hopefully my back will get betetr. Some days I can hardly get out of bed. Might need to go to an osteopath.

definitly, i shouldn't have been that weight in the first place, it was a combination of the change, and the depo injection, i dieted for a year and lost NOTHING, so i stopped the injection, and it just started dropping off.

11.5 stone may not seem a lot to some people, but, i was 9 stone fully pregnant, the heaviest i have ever been until i piled it on in 12 months, all my joints where shot anyway, but i couldn't stand on my own feet in the mornings, Doc said it was because they had never carried that weight and where struggling, since i dropped the wieght no more pain in my feet, and less in my joints ( arthritis since 14) .
I am still heavier than i used to be at 9 stone, but its a healthy heavy as opposed to the sick 6 stone i was at 21.
i seem to have stabilised at a weight at 48 i am happy with, which is a relief, cos i hated dieting, i hadn't ever had to. I firmly believe in healthy eating rather than dieting, unfortunately it was the drugs not my eating habits that caused the weight gain.

Well done janeyo. When I was a nipper it was common for parents to buy clothes a little to big in order to allow for growing room. My own mother often did this for me and my brothers. The only problem is, I'm still doing it for myself. Every so often I do lose some wieght but then I put it back on again plus a little extra.

Not going to worry about it until after Christmas.

LoL, I've got a whole wardrobe of size 12 clothes just for that same reason

Well done all you slimmers. I must say that the only time I ever lost weight was with Weightwatchers but then it all came back on
