                    Brilliant ! Doesn't surprise me in a way. With all I've read about their brain structure, functions and behaviour, I'd support any suggestion of giving great apes some kind of sentient beings rights. What we are doing to their habitat is a crime.
                    There's no point reading history if you don't use the lessons it teaches.

                      You are absolutely right snohare - I read somewhere recently that we share either 92% or 98% of genes with the gorilla. Perhaps it would be a better world had we stopped evolving when we were
                      even closer to them.
