Fraid not. Bet it was great to see. Have you seen any before?

Our house backs onto fields and we don`t have alot of light polution but I`ve never seen one. I think I might start looking out more.

It's one of the pleasures of dog walking at night - but I've only ever seen white ones - they must change colour when they cross county borders!

I've seen a few, mostly caught in the corner of my eye. I was walking home from the pub when I saw one the first time and did question if I was seeing things!! Have seen a couple sober too. Never colours, always white for me.

                lucky you

Despite living out in the sticks with no light pollution & gazing at the sky often until my late teens,I saw my first shooting star in my mid twenties on a camping trip...I got so excited!I've seen several since, but never coloured...You on the hard stuff Jacob??

August 2007 I was staying with mum and dad in Cyprus when the Perseids meteor shower was happened - 'the most spectacular sight for years' with a shooting star 'every few seconds'. Low light pollution and 'anywhere in the Med' was supposed to be 'ideal' - I lay on my back all night on the terrace and saw 1

I have seen a few whilst walking in the Scottish borders.
