Will you be sorry to end the nomadic lifestyle do you think?

I get itchy feet even now. We've been here 11 years, the longest I've ever lived anywhere in my puff.

Yes and no - it has good bits and not too many bad bits, I have enjoyed twenty years of new adventures and it isn't over until end of 2015 - what a party that will be

They have some REALLY good parties there (he said knowinly ) particularly the themed "Help for Heroes" ones, wander around the local hedgerows in the summer & you will find a proliferation of Mirabelle plums for jam making, later in the year you will find similar amounts of rose hips & sloes.
Shrewsbury flower festival is only a hop, skip & jump away

Don't know much about the local area, but your only a few miles from the Llangollen canal one of the prettiest canals in the country and lined with very nice pubs. If you feel adventurous take a walk across the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct a wonderful Thomas Telford construction but take a head for heights with you.
