Other than yourself, do you look like anyone famous?

I've been told on several occasions now that I look like/remind people of Lee Mack.

I got accused of looking like someone else when I was in a queue last week....not good as you still have to queue with them behind you. And all through school I was apparently the spit of someone else a year above me, but I never met them - or perhaps I did I just didn't know it.

On the Lee Mack front...Not Going Out is chokingly funny - genius.

My name has been used as a very minor character in the New York Times bestselling horror novel Contagious by Scott Sigler.

I asked a friend who would play me if it was turned into a film? - he answered Danny Devito - I think I asked for that!

Years ago one of my workmates said I reminded her of Boy George ! How insulting is that, mind you I did used to wear a lot of make-up & silly outfits & George was a lot slimmer & 'prettier' then! When I try glasses on now I sometimes think I look like comedian Jenny Eclair.

I once got stopped in London by 2 girls who thought I was Aisleine from big brother.

I never knew who she was - seen a pic of her since then - I look nothing like her.
Serene she stand amid the flowers,
And only count lifes sunny hours,
For her dull days do not exist,

A dear sweet girl I use to work with once said " Don't you look like Kylie Minogue", to which I replied "do you need glasses?", but she stands by her observation to this day.

A few people said to me a few years ago that Helen Mirren reminded them of me, but the MOST number of people have said I'm like - guess who -

                      Wendolene

                      from Wallace and Gromit!

some years ago, I was picking up my daughter in town and before she got in the car the girls she'd been talking to said something very quickly into her ear.

When she got in the car, she told me what they'd said was, "Yeah, she definitely is."

                      They quickly explained, "Like Wendolene."

My daughter had told them I was supposed to be like her.

I've even been given presents of Wendolene t-shirts.

                      ***I love Wensleydale though.

Years ago I was likened to Marianne Faithful...although it possibly had more to do with the alcohol induced glazed state I often had! Also about the same time "one of" the Ab Fab girls...never did find out which one,but think the reason may have been the same!
Unfortunately, despite the fact that they'd both be considerably older than me now, they've both aged far better!!!
