  • Sell for shed?

I bought a rotovator last year, honda, now when i bought it I didnt have as many raised beds........its a bit clumsy for raised beds, do i sell it and buy myself a nice new shed or persevere with it. I love the rotovator its wicked but then again I miss digging lol.....i know. i know i am weird lol......

what do i do? or do i just stop whining>?

Would you be able to get the price you want for it, what with the credit crunch and all? If you do sell it, you could always hire one for any bits you need digging over. Imagine yourself in a new shed - net curtains et al. kettle on to boil etc etc

Why not keep it and offer it out to hire ? They charge £25 a day for a Honda Rotavator up here.

'Watch' a few on th'eBay, and see what sort of price you might get for it. If it comes nowhere near the price of a new shed then you might be better off keeping it & hiring out to other plot holders like Rat said?

A shed's easier to cobble together from pallets/scaffold boards.... try making your own rotavator.....

The time is now if you're thinking of selling to maximise you're money. But I'd consider offering it for hire to other plot holders. I'd jump at the chance if one of my neighbours offered. £25 is good value and you don't need many takers before you've made a tidy sum. You'd have to think about the time, transport and assitance factors though.
