  • Seed Addiction

I love my Dad without question. We have allotments on the same site and we spend loads to time there together but as a seed addict my dad has just said the worst thing possible to me. He sent me into a right panic.

He said 'I've ordered loads of seeds for next year so you don't need to buy any'. Now I know I should be grateful but he must be bonkers if he thinks I'm going to go a whole year and not order any seeds.

By the way, when do the new catalogues come out?

I have to buy seeds - it is necessary for my well-being. For me, seeds symbolise hope.

That's my excuse and I am sticking to it
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

I went to a local garden centre at the weekend specifically to get some seeds - i was most upset that virtually all of the seed racks were empty (they're doing work to premises)! I had to buy a plant to cheer myself up and get over the trauma

I'm new to this seed addiction thing and am telling myself that I only need some Sungold tomato seeds next year, plus seed potatoes. Oh and runner beans. Will let you know what happens

I have a list that fills an A4 sheet of paper for next year. I'm hoping to increase the space I have by taking on the empty lottie next door. So I'm telling myself I need all the seeds to fill it.

I'm just marking time through August until the September seed packets sale scramble hits the Garden Centres. I seem to be pathologically unable to pass by a display stand of seeds without browsing...

My husband thinks I've got a seed addiction. I've already got next years seeds and I'm still on the look out for more. I've got my seeds in a wooden box which I got at the side of my bed, I keeping having a noisy inside ever now and then.
I've got 8 varieties of Tomatoes!
