  • Search facility prob

    Any one else having problems with the search button today or is it just my knackered computer? Trying to search good king henry, each time it jus takes me to a completely blank page?

        What's happened to the pictures in posts? They used to just open when you clicked on the thumbnail. Now there's a little graphic flourish, which is a waste of time, but at least it lets you know the picture is loading. Then, you have to click on the 'X' to get rid of it, it doesn't disappear when you scroll. Not a complaint, just a query!

          Good king henry - I had tons of it in this garden when I moved in a couple of years ago, makes a nice spinach substitute

          Can't comment on the Search problems, I never use it, I just ask

                Thanks piskie. Thats what I thought. Ended up googling it and it said its also called poor mans asparagus as you pick the shoots and cook like asparagus, meant to taste like it too? Apparanatly you can wash and grind the seed and add to bread flour. YOu have to be careful not to each too much raw though as it has the same stuff in it that sorrel has (cant remember name?)

                GOt sent a packet from Emma of Alternative kitchen garden, plus some welsh onions. So hopefully gonna sow them today
