  • Sauce and Salad Cream

Now why is it, when I have grown a salad leaf mix especially for flavour that I end up smothering it in salad cream? And why, when my friend has supplied me with fantastic free-range chicken and bantam eggs, with beautiful pale-yellow yolks, do I drown them in brown sauce (although it has to be HP)? Anybody else have this problem?

I do like salad cream, well more than mayo anyway, but usually put a little vinegar on salad....

Brown sauce is for Bacon Sarnies, honestly!

Balsamic Vinegar or Cardini's Caesar dressing for salad.

Mayo's for chips. Unless they're Chip Shop chips, then it's Sarson's and salt.

OK, I confess..... I LOVE red, brown AND mayo on my bacon sarnies on a morning.
As for salads I like a french type dressing.
