Sasha has started taking to sitting on my modem while I type, think it must be keeping her bottom warm, if it's not that then it's my chest as I read. She had her last lot of chemo and steroids at the end of Jan and has not experienced any reaction-sometimes she's a bit quiet, in fact this time she got confused and thought she was a mountain goat-climbing up everything ,or a spring lamb- jumping everywhere. Not bad for 16 years old with lymphoma. Husband and I going to ask vet if we could have some of her medicine too if thats the effect. Her fur starting to regrow after 6 months from where she was shaved for biopsy.

My pusscat was over 18 when we had to make a final horrible decision for her. She had an inoperable growth but despite that she battled gamely against her problems. We felt she was hanging on in there for us but eventually her predicament became really hopeless. The vet had told us that we would know when the time had come to say enough was enough and that proved to be correct but it was the most horrible thing I have ever had to make a decision about. Been almost two years now and I still find myself watching she isn't behind me when I turn around in the kitchen or look to give her a titbit when I'm cooking. Enjoy your pusscat and her foibles while you can.

My kitty drapes herself over my shoulder purring furiously in my ear and wants to stay there for ages. At night she finds a warm spot draped over my tummy and growls at me if I try and turn over. They are such lovely companions and I am so pleased that Sasha has responded well to her treatment.Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?Comment

We have two dogs and four cats, I wouldn't be without them. Our eldest cat is Elsa, 14 or 15 I forget. She loves to sit on the chair arm next to the radiator. This last cold snap, I don't think she's ventured outside until the thaw. Other three love to bring back; rats, mice and voles (sometimes alive!). They must think we humans are a bit strange when we try to rescue them and return them to the fields.
Hope Sasha continues to thrive. She sounds like a fighter.It is the doom of man, that they forget.Comment
