  • Sad Day

Annie today you would have been 57 years old and I cant send you a card,
Instead I will visit your grave and place some roses picked from my garden.
To me you were the best sister in the world but dont tell Sandra,
You were the one in the middle, my big sister, my best friend,
I miss you more than words can say,
I loved you then and I love you now,
You were so brave, you fought for six years but you were strong,
We laughed and cried at so many things.
At the end you coudn't walk far, only across the room,
Your legs were wrapped in bandages, you lost a lot of weight,
Breast Cancer had spread to your bones, your spine then your arms, your ribs and finally the base of your skull.
On October the 1st 2007 you went to sleep in Rowcroft hospice and on Wednesday 3rd of October 2007 you died, Im sorry I was not there I missed saying goodbye by just a few minuets, The day before I sat on your bed and told you that Mum and Dad were calling you, You are with them now watching over us all, Out of pain now.
Rest in peace I will have a drink and a slice of cake in your memory.
Forever in my heart your Loving sister Jac.

A very touching epitaph Jackie. A sad day indeed.
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

      Diversify & prosper

                {{{hugs}}} Jackie
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."
