Last week I lost my bag, in the week OH was told there is only enough work left for him until the end of February, and then on Sunday morning I woke to the sound of drip drip. The valves in the downstairs loo that had been fine for 24 hours since the rad was taken off had broken. The header thing in the loft wa re-filling the stuff that was coming out. 3 inches of water in the loo, and out in the hallway, everything soaked.
So I was mopping up with towels and buckets at 8am. Another 5 mins and the water would have come into the kitchen and riuned the new kitchen flooring and probably the new units too, so caught it just in time.
Even more annoying, was that mum had the little ones for the night and I was meant to be having a lie in.
hmmpf.
