Fantastic!
I made elderflower cordial last weekend, which was really nice. Quite tempted by the champers though; must look in Hugh's books to see if the recipe is there.

It's on the River Cottage web site - just need to find a lot of elderflowers now!

Will have to have a holiday down Dorset way sometime so that a day out can be had there.

you lucky b***er. I am so envious. Looked a great day. Hugh is a nice chap isn't he, and does take time to talk to people. Only met him the once, at one of his talks just after his Meat book was published.

Very interesting and passionate about his food

Hey Roadkill, great photos... you have to send Hugh a copy of that third one, the one with the interesting nose clip.

How long did it take you to get down there...? Where you there for the day or over night..?

I got the impression it was invites only, did you just see it on his website and turn up...?

Looks like a great day. Your very lucky.

how do i send him a copy of the pics?

It took me about 3 hours to get there , I was only there for the day arrived about 10.30 and left at 1500hrs.

It was ticket only which i bought off the website i think they were only on sale for a few hours before they all sold out . 700 ppl were there in total ...

Next year when its on again i will post the link on here its only £9 quid a ticket which is so so cheap for a great day out ..........

Also Hugh is really nice and does take time to chat he was well impressed with the nine chickens i have saved which is down to him and river cottage which made me change my path in life
