    RIP Trevor Bannister

    The actor Trevor Bannister has died aged 76. The actor who played Mr Lucas in Are you being served? suffered a heart attack and died whilst on his allotment whilst working on his shed on Thursday 15th April.

    Rest peacefully Trevor.

    RIP Not a bad way to go though - I'll be happy if I meet my end in a similar fashion.

      Ooo, he was the dishy one. Sorry to here of his passing. R.I P Mr Lucas.

        If I go quickly, handing in my dinner plate for the last time whilst working on my allotment would be a brilliant way to go. Good to know that even celebrity actors have an interest in allotments. My condolences to Mr Bannister's family.

          My old uncle used to say that he would like to breathe his last while on his allotment and be buried there to manure his crops! I used to enjoy watching Trevor in AYBS, he'll be sadly missed.
