O noooo, poor you. I have a small moulinex chopper and I'd be lost without it. It also was a gift from a very special friend.

R.I.P...Multi-chef.

Not tools exaxtly but I have a set of 3 Arcoroc smoked glass casserole dishes that were given to us as a wedding present 33 years ago. Apart from a few chips they are as good as new and I still use them weekly. I also have a couple of 'bone' handled table knives that I use for pastry. I have only had them a few years but they were given to me by an elderly friend and she had them for over 40 years, they were the last of her canteen of cutlery wedding gift.

My teamaker... 31 years ......he makes a smashing cuppa!!

I have my grannies bone handled bread knife which I've used for about 30 yrs...it was a wedding pressie to her back in 1919....gosh, that's nearly 100 years of constant use!!!

We had some as wedding present too - sadly, they havent lasted as long as yours.

My early morning coffee maker is still going strong after 27 years - he's never let me down!

I don't do kitchen gadgets, so the oldest bit of kit I have is my late mother's wooden spoon, still going strong and it must be at least 80 years old!

I have my Nan's old Mixing Bowl. You know, the beige Ceamic one, with the creamy inside. It's cracked, and scratched, and the surface layer is missing in places, so it's doesn't get used very often - but I'll never throw it out.

I bought a set of 5 Le Creuset saucepans back in '87 and they're all still going strong despite some of them being used on an almost daily basis

Unfortunately the nice big Le Creuset casserole which was a wedding present got dropped and cracked

Oh, and I've also been using the same "Peter Rabbit" cereal bowl for breakfast for the past 20 years

We have an old Electrolux fridge that was given to us as a wedding present in 1966. Will be celebrating its and our Sapphire Anniversary this year.

Mine's a wooden spoon too - more of a spatula really, with a diagonal straight edge. Can't remember where we got it from, haven't seen one like it for sale anywhere! Reckon if it breaks I'll have to start sanding a normal one down to look like it.

Sorry to hear about the gadget demise.

Snap G4! I'd forgotten about that, I have my gran's bowl too which must be older than my wooden spoon, how cool is that? You still see these bowls being used on television programmes and I think they're still being manufactured! I've always used mine for making pastry and for meat and tater pie when the children were at home because it made enough for all of us.

I got mine from a charity shop last year, I was well chuffed, a proper mixing bowl at last!
