  • RIP Humph

BBC NEWS | Entertainment | Jazz legend Lyttelton dies at 86

A good innings but he'll still be sadly missed! 'I'm Sorry, I Haven't A Clue' never failed to have me in stitches.
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Very, very sad. I know all things must end, but Humph brought so much happiness into so many peoples lives. I'm sure he'll be well remembered for a very long time. RIP Humph.

Such sad news about Humph."I'm sorry I havn't a clue" was an absolute scream. It had to be the funniest show on radio. What will we do without Samantha's antics.I hope no one tries to replace Humph,it just wouldn't work.

            How sad.

Such a funny, talented and modest man - the perfect quiz host with a splendid voice.

            A real radio legend.

Yes, very sad, and Himself and I feel he is irreplacable. I hope they don't try and do the show without him. He WAS I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue.

I too was so sorry to hear this news - bbc cancelled recording ashumph was having op- totally agree 'sihac' will not be same without him, Beeb obviously felt same too - butHumph will be missed by so many. It was classic brit radio at its best. I just hope the rest of the crew can come up with something to replace- they have so much talent tween them. I havent felt this bad about 'media personality since John peel'.
