    RIP.

Another Radio 4 stalwart gone I reckon it was a life well lived though
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

I know the face, not sure I know much about him. Isn't he Lucian Freud's brother?

            Aye, Sigmund's grandson.

Very funny man, excellent dry sense of humour...regular on Just A Minute [the only cd radio show I own..for the car for long journeys].

Writer, broadcaster, former Liberal MP, TV commercial voice-over maestro, and grandson of Sigmund.

Just A Minute won't be the same without you.

Rest, (without interruption, hesitation, or deviation) in peace.

I might have heard more of him if I could stand Just a Minute - but the chairman does me head in!

RIP - it's a great shame... JAM won't be the same with him.

The way he and Paul Merton interacted had me in stitches soooooo many times.

One of the 'Have I Got News For You' episodes with him in is on YouTube. Superb!
