    Right I'm off...

    well I will be early in the morning! I'm off (as some of you may rembember) to see the Northern lights on a cruise I won a couple of months back
    I have borrowed a super-duper camera from my brother so I can put some photo's up on here as promised,I have packed and unpacked and packed again and I am getting just a little excited now

    Have a great time, hope you get to see them. My OH's neice went a few months ago and managed to see them, other people were on their seventh trip and it was the first time they had seen them.

                Congraulations on winning such a wonderful prize. Enjoy the experience and don't get too hung up on seeing the lights, so that if you're lucky enough to see them, it will be just an added bonus.

                      I've got my fingers crossed that I'll get to see them as the bloke from Hurtigruten (cruise company) said it was a great time to see them but I have lots to look forward to if I dont get to.
                      The husky sled ride is all set and were hoping to book to see the largest salt water aquarium and visit the North Cape
                      (Just pinched this of wikipedia - North Cape is a cape on the island of Magerøya in northern Norway, in the municipality of Nordkapp. Its 307 m high, steep cliff is often referred to as the northernmost point of Europe, located at 71°10′21″N 25°47′40″E / 71.1725°N 25.79444°E / 71.1725; 25.79444)

                      Just hope my thermals keep me warm enough

                              Have an amazing time - I know you will!!

                              North Cape is wonderful - although it was dark while we were there. We had a coach trip to get there - and our own snow plough to find the road. Really incredible experience.

                              In a couple of years you'll still be boring people with how much you loved it and taking every opportunity to share your photos!!!!
