Going to watch part 2 on I player tomorrow so will get the tissues ready. Thank you for the warning Binley 100. Watched Africa with daughter and we both sobbed at the baby elephant, can be such a cruel would at times. Penguins clash with dancing on the edge on bbc2

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Well there was a part where nature took it's course but I didn't feel the need for tissues Perhaps I'm not as soft hearted as others when it comes to "life in the raw".

I was granted access to the remote briefly, last week. Instantly changed to Africa. After about two minutes they were showing the starving Elephants so I turned it straight over. Used to love Attenborough, but I just can't watch the sad bits.

Let me know tomorrow if the Pingus are sad - if not, I'll catch up with it on the iPlayer.

Absolutely loved it, but yes, there's certainly some sad parts.Fantastic photography.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
