I've voted for it Nick although I don't usually have much to pass on to anyone else. I thought your original idea was just about passing on 'ideas' for how to recycle things but it seems to have developed into actually swapping stuff. We could put the 'seed swap' section in there & things like Piglet's (was it him?) oil barrels for growing potatoes in etc. A lot of the grapes seem to organize swaps etc. between themselves by P.M.s though so maybe they don't want to formalise it by putting it on view?

I am all for swapping and recycling but I think I live too far out of the way to participate much in it through this forum. Great idea for those who are closer together.

I've voted 'yes please' even though I'm way off being central too, but in general I think it's a great idea and if something came up that might cost a bit in the shops but was sendable then I would go for it. Obviously stuff like old carpet I'd have to look for more locally but I can easily imagine other possibilities that would be more feasible...

I agree that tis a good idea but seem to be a little out of the main flow to benefit or be able to benefit others hugely. Will ponder how to use my vote.

Good idea but think that we should keep it to gardening related things otherwise as somebody said the other day we would just be setting up our own freecycle which seems a bit pointless.
