  • Recorded Delivery

    Hi

How do you send a packet recorded delivery?

I have the record delivery label and want to print the postage label from my online account.

At work I stick the postage and recorded delivery label on the packet and then log the packet in a book that the postman signs.

I obviously can not log the packet I want to send. Does this matter?

    Many thanks
    Bye

You will need to take it to the post office as far as I am aware. If you don't, they won't have a record of the time etc of posting entered into their computer system

For recorded, whilst you can print the postage, you still have to go to the PO to get it recorded - makes no sense to me either

I really don't find online postage very helpful: I once weighed and printed a dozen labels for parcels, and the post office person then had to weigh them all again, to check.

So I saved no time at all, and wasted my printer ink.
