why the hell are they advertising or am i reading too much into it
I rang the telegraph and asked them where theve got there information from.
They said they are getting the reporter to ring me , i told them i will be at the council for 9 oclock
This really is extracting the michael

But don't go getting yourself arrested, that wouldn't help the situation at all! Keep your cool, and you'll achieve more.

Good luck tricky - but try not to end up looking after veg at Her Majesty's pleasure! Better to get the press onside - they love a local story that shows how inept councils are. He might help embarass the council into giving you the plot of your dreams!

You have every right to go there and find out what's what, but, as SarzWix says, keep your cool. Don't let them irritate you (or don't show it!) - I'm with McBee too about getting the press onside.

In the February edition of Grow Your Own, page 27, Allotment Notice Board there's the article about you losing your other plot. Part of the article reports on a statement from councillor Len Foster who says "............. And as a goodwill gesture, I'm prepared to offer the allotment back to those affected and we are now in the process of contacting these people". It seems to me that the Council is still telling the public one thing and the evicted allotment holders another! I wonder if it might help to take copies of all the correspondence from the council with you, as well as (possibly) a copy of the magazine?

Just to agree with all thats been said, I understand your frustrations but losing your temper wont do you any good. Be calm and reasoned and you will achieve a lot more.

i will try but its hard ,im stronger then i was back in september
i think i will take a good freind with me , he knows how to calm me down.
I feel victimised by this council .
Allotment inspector allows you to view vacant plots , what vacant plots , there is none
so they keep telling me.
somebody pinch me and tell me for once im having a good nights sleep.

Thats a good point Maureen yes i do have copies of the papers , and the letters of apology i was sent .
(and all the nice letters sent to me which i read when im down )

(not forgetting icthy fingers cant wait my windowsills full)
Im going to have to wait to see what there answer is tomorrow

we are all up for another council bashing, but you MUST stay calm, if you lose your temper then you will never get a plot, as they will say we don't want your sort on the plots ....... sooooooo take your calm friend, see if you can get the reporter to go with you, and basically ask in front of him, why they are advertising when they say there are no plots?? ...... then we can progress further ...... however if you blow it by not staying calm, you will probably use the press support too ...... we are all rooting for you.

thanks lynda and all , promise to stay calm , my sorts on the plot , i use to avoid them ,thats why nobody saw me , i will stay calm
