  • Really rather chuffed this turned out well...

My daughter has been begging for a gingerbread house instead of a cake for her birthday ever since I was bought Rache Allen's 'Bake' book for Christmas.

I'm not going to be at home on Weds as its Brad's funeral, so I have done the house - and its turned out well. So pleased, can't wait to see what she says when she sees it

That's a work of art - 'almost' a shame to have to eat it - but of course it will be and I'm sure enjoyed.......leaving you 'just' time enough to make the next one. Your daughter will love it I'm certain.

    Well done - great job.

and so you should be. When we take up the challenge, so to speak, of our kids wishes and whims we enter a new world of trial and error. When we accomplish and present the fate accompli tis so thrilling. "I wan't one Mum" will be the cry. You have let yourself in for it now. I've got the Tshirt.

Kirsty - is that tomorrow Wed or next Wed? - whichever - I know the love of the vine will accompany you and the family to Brad's send-off.

                Looks fabulous!!!

I'm about to attempt a Hello Kitty cake for my littlest daughter's b'day tomorrow. I'll be thrilled if it's half as good as your house!

And as Quark says, we'll all be with you in spirit next weds (hugs).
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

I'm guessing something along the lines of "wow, that's cool Mum, thanks!"

                        That's what I'd say anyway.
