  • Really Ill

Yesterday I was so Ill I thought I was going to die !!! I wont go in to gory details just imagine the worst. I stayed in bed all day and slept for most of it.
As I have eaten the same as the rest of the family I dont think it was food poisoning.
Could it have been something I did at the lottie the day before, I did the usual planting feeding etc and used some soil conditioner, i am so careful about washing my hands after I have used anything, I keep a small washing up bowl, nail brush and liquid soap in my shed and boil a kettle of hot water.
I havent been so ill for a very long time ( i cant remember ) the last time now i ache all over from the strain.

Sorry to hear you've been ill Jackie - hope you're soon feeling better. Meantime, take it easy and let your body sort itself out.

I had 'just a summer cold' a couple of weeks back. Slept in the day, felt lousy - it's a long time since I had one so bad. These things can really knock you sideways. Don't expect to be back to normal inside of a week. Take it easy - hope you soon feel LOADS better.

                      Hi
i haven't actually been ill for ages...probably because I don't work in an office any more.

i had two stints at the hairdressers last week and this week; both 3 hours as I needed to get a load of red dye out of my hair and go all blonde bimbo again.

Near the end of the second stint, they revealed that they had ALL had really really bad bugs, out both ends bad. Flippin heck; I had been drinking coffee and spent 6 hours with them.

Nothing has appeared yet, but I am going to my Niece's 5th birthday party on saturday and NOTHING is going to stop me going; she told me off last year for missing it and don't like getting told off by a 5 year old!

I just wish they had warned me, I certainly wouldn't have drunk the coffee there...fingers crossed I'm ok.

                      Hoping you feel better soon.

I'm not saying anymore about how rubbish I felt a few weeks back for fear of being accused of having man-flu, but if you feel anything like I felt at the time jackie, I hope you do feel better soon. Rubbish feeling rubbish innit?

Thanks to everyone for your kind thoughts and hugs.
I have spent today in bed and slept for most of it. Its been a long time since I have felt so rough. Havent got the energy to do anything even if I wanted to.
Feeling a lot better but will still take it easy.
Looking after my nearly 7 yr old grandson on saturday so I will need all the energy I can muster for then, at least I have got flowers to help me with him.
