The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

I would go to blood donations, if it wasn't for the case that they refuse me everytime on the basis that my husband is African, even though we do have a HIV test to show the virus is not in our family.

              thats awful tiachica.

I started donating again last year when Brad needed so many transfusions to get through his chemo etc. Was the kick up the bum I needed after not donating for nearly 10 years. Go every 4 months

I have a rare blood group and there's apparently only a few days supply available at any time. I've just needed an emergency transfusion, and it's raised my awareness. I'm not able to give blood for a while, but when I'm able to, I will. It saved my life and I'm very grateful someone did it for me, so I'd like to do it for someone else.

Good luck to little Jamie and his family.

                    How ridiculous !

The rules must be different in Scotland as here it doesnt matter who your married to or what you ethnicity is.

All the blood is screened before its used anyway.
