You have to loose sight of the shore sometimes to cross new oceans

I would be a perfectionist, but I dont have the time

I love rainbows. I use to run to try and get to the end of them for the pot of gold when I was a little girl...I never quite made it

When we bought this house 11 years ago I knew it was THE one because of the rainbow over it as we drove up.

                  Me too!
We saw something a few weeks ago which looked like a tiny section of a rainbow in the sky, we looked it up & it was some kind of 'arc' with a complicated name, very pretty though.
Into every life a little rain must fall.

Those little sections of rainbow - aren't they called sundogs?

We get so many here, but each one thrills me. Mr C gets a bit tired of being asked to 'come and see'!

Liza - Thursday late afternoon- fantastic time for rainbow and cloud spotting - talk about a busy sky!!! huge anvil clouds, rain clouds, rainbows, clear sky, yellow sky. Better than any soap opera! I saw a fab rainbow over local Berrysains about 5:45pm just on edge of Oxon city! brightly coloured or what!!!!

annacruachan - in your rainbow photo there is a dark band between the two, I think this has a name of it's own - the Alexanders dark band!

                              Lovely photos folks!
