The greatness comes not when things go always good for you,but the greatness comes when you are really tested, when you take, some knocks, some disappointments;because only if youv'e been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.

Me and Lauren b did the one at Peterborough on Tuesday 24th, with Mum, big sis and niece.
Walked it as mum has got a bad knee and dodgy heart, but still did it in under an hour. Great fun.

Our mate Jules and her daughter Alice (or as we call her "mini me"!) are running in the one at Leyland, Lancashire next Sunday 5th July - this is a BIG ask but, in the hope that anyone would like to sponser them, please log onto http:/www.raceforlifesponsorme.juliehume. This is such a worthwhile cause.
          Many thanks if you do!

Ran in Falkirk today. 38 mins with a really big hill in the middle.

Not bad - legs are getting sorer and sorer.

Ouch, my legs turned to jelly on the last 500mtrs, but the support of the crowd egged me on. A great day and yes, I agree an emotional one. Earned myself a gud bottle of vino tonite.....( I managed 33mins was so thrilled)

Well done you two! I must admit, if i'dve know about the race in leyland, I would have put my name down, as it is, Im hassling everyone else for sponsorship for those I know who are doing it - next year, I'd love to take part. Bernie
