  • Quilters and Knitters Have Great Brains

I can't do either so hopefully one of my other pastimes will help my brain at some point (though 'eating popcorn' probably won't do it).

Anyway, thought Flummery, tootles and others may like to know the good news.

By the way, who the heck watches telly for 7 hours a day?! That's a whole week's worth for us!

Not had time to read the link as am at work but yeah; Handy crafts and knitting keeps the brain busy because of reading the patterns and counting all the stiches! Thats my thought on the matter anyway!

Well both my grannies knitted, as did their sisters - they were of that generation where it was an economic necessity - and although none are with us any longer, none were 'away with the fairies' at the end either. Perhaps it's time to get the needles back out.

With me (since having children) knitting/crochet is the only thing that keeps me awake long enough to watch anything on TV! Classic case of multi-tasking Improves your maths too...

Well, I knit AND quilt. But I'd still forget me own name some days if people didn't keep shouting it at me!

Dunno, think it might be in my tagline though.

I can only knit on days where my brain is working well. If I am having a bad day with the CFS then there is no hope of following the pattern
