    Trumpkin more like!

    Came home from work tonight and opened the door into the dining room - pheuweee!

    Dunneh smell?

    It may end up outside one night earlier than planned.

    Ooh, you've noticed HW, I used to make my OH put them outside about a day after he carved them - he used to light the candle inside and that's when the kids came round trick or treating!
    Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

      I forgot to carve it a narse, so the gas must have built up. I might not light the candle until it's outside. Justin.

              I dont know where I heard it but just recently someone said dont carve till the last day and put it in water for a while and it will last longer, not sure why and I havent tried it.
              Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
              and ends with backache

                Well it was relegated to the outside earlier, the trumpy smell was too much.

                It's been well recieved by the local trick or treaters - one little dot earned himself an extra Milky Way by saying "I love your pumpkin and you've got a lovely house" Bless him.

                Even some parents have commented (but they didn't get an extra Milky Way)

                I'm doing this again next year - and then some!
