    Pumpkin Carving Competition 2014 -RESULTS!!!!

    C'mon grapes let's see your entries for the Vines Best Carved Pumpkin for Halloween 2014.
    The competition is open to fun loving amateur grapes like myself your kids, grandkids, nieces or nephews. Let's be creative, use your home grown pumpkin, marrow or even swede or pop out to your local shop before they run out!

    Closing date for entries will be midnight Tuesday 4th November 2014 and there will be a poll for Grapes to vote for the best.....there may even be a prize for the lucky winner!

    Use your imagination and let's have some fun!

          I will have to go next door to photograph young Harry's master piece. I grew the pumpkin and roasted the seeds out of it for him! Hopefully he will let me take a photo of it . I can't carve one my self because I've eaten the rest of them already!

            I just re read your first post scarlet,( should of done that properly in the first place) as it's not just pumpkins I might have ago at butchering my last marrow. Sorry I mean carving!

              Brilliant - you can enter them both I entered the snowman competition last year, it was my nephews snowman and he was so excited to see it on the "web"

                Turnips were used for the original lanterns, they must have been quite tricky to carve. I'm getting our pumpkin tomorrow

                  Home-Grown Hundredweight

                  Well, never been an artist, but in the name of sport here is my entry!





                  About ten tonnes of pumpkin flesh ready to cook after all that.

                  Will post some spooky night time pictures once I've procured a candle...
