Great idea ~ and a chance for Grapes to meet up.
I might try & get to the Ipswich one, so stay away if you don't want to meet me!
edit: Mr Sheds has promised to take me (I said I'd rather go to Potato Day than have a 'romantic' meal out)

Nearer the time I'll PM you others that are going ... maybe we can all wear red gloves, or carry a red bag to identify ourselves to each other? Or carry a copy of GYO?

More added via Google If anyone knows any that I haven't listed, point me in the direction of the details and I'll add them on

Found some more, including a couple of Scottish ones. I'll add the to the list later, but details here; http://thewhitchurchweb.org/potatoday/potatodays.htm

Forgive me for being American (and not up to snuff on my British geography), but are any of those near south-west London?

I have a choice - the Dulwich one is 33 miles but means driving into town and the whitchurch, hampshire is 34 miles (M3 - A303)
                        tough choice - not!!!!

Gwen11ian, you are at the top of the M3 so I think the Dulwich one is probably your closest.

I think Dulwich is just a stones throw away from Richmond.

Dulwich is south east London. Nearest station to the venue is actually Honor Oak Park, not any of the Dulwich ones. Trains out of London Bridge or Victoria
